The pictures in this case are mainly for reference! 🙂

I’m sleep deprived, have splotchy skin and get stress breakouts.. welcome to motherhood!

I really used to think that I just looked tired because I haven’t gotten much sleep for the past ummm… 5 years, but I’ve come to realize this is just how my face looks now.

Dark purple-ish bags under my eyes have become permanently attached to my face.

Praise Jesus for make-up!

There are a few make-up items I own if I want to go out into the world and not look like death.

Clean and Clear Duel Action Moisturizer

I’m pretty prone to break outs so I start and end my day with this! It is so important to moisturize your face everyday, this one just has an added acne fighting bonus!

  1. It’s cheap
  2. There are TONS of different shades to choose from
  3. It blends on its own (so no more having to put makeup all over my chest and neck) AND
  4. It comes in matte (which is the one I use) and dewy (which is more of a shiny look)

It’s full coverage and that’s just what Mama needs!

Again it’s cheap, has great coverage, and I don’t have to worry about it not blending well with my foundation. In the past I used Hard Candy Glamoflauge. This is stuff is insane full coverage! I loved it for the time that I used it, I just eventually found one that I liked better for the price and coverage.

Bronzer and Highlighter (for contouring)

I used to just do these when I was actually going out somewhere, but now I’ve gotten so addicted to contouring I use them everyday.. (don’t judge me) I have tried a ton of different bronzers and highlighers, but currently I use

NYX Matte Bronzer and NYX Illuminator

Once again you can’t beat the price and coverage that they give you.

CoverGirl TruBlend

It’s just the right shade for me. Personally I don’t like blush that pops out that much just because it’s for an everyday look so it works GREAT!

CoverGirl Easy Breezy Sculpt and Set Pomade

The top part comes off and has an angled brush attached to it, which I think is awesome! It stays all day and I have yet to sweat it off or have it rub off. Which is saying something seeing as my one year old has this new-found love of rubbing his hands all over my face (insert sarcastic eye roll here).

This one I bought after it was used on me for a wedding and I just loved the pigments. Honestly it’s the most expensive makeup item I own BUT before you look it up and call me crazy, I bought it on sale at Sephora for like half price so I would say I got a great deal. Also as far as my husband is concerned it was half of the half off price..

E.L.F Liquid Liner

I love this eyeliner! I never had much experience with liquid liner, but I decided to give this one a try and I fell in love with how effortless it glides and the fact that I use it just about everyday and I bought it over 6 months ago! (Sorry all makeup enthusiast, I’m sure that just made you cringe) I’m just sayin you really get a bang for your buck!

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise

I’ve been through mascara after mascara and even tried the fiber mascaras that are supposed to make your lashes longer and thicker (Which I paid about $30 for) and NOTHING compares to this right here! It makes my lashes look amazing without clumping!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

I use this literally every. single. day!

Even if I put on a different color lipstick 9/10 times I’m going to put this over it just to give it a glossy casual look. It never disappoints! It’s a really small tube (0.27 oz to be exact), but I’ve had it for a while now and it’s still going!

I know by now you’re probably thinking “Wow.. this woman wears too much make up” and while that may be true it really doesn’t take me more than 10-15 minutes to put it on each day. So there’s a silver lining.

I love all of these things and would be a lost tired zombie looking woman without them. The best part? Aside from my Morphe pallet ALL of these products are less than $10 each!

If you’re looking for something new I would definitely recommend using everything on this list! But as always “mombie” or not..

you’re doing great, Mama!
